How gorgeous is this postbox (swipe to see the rest of it!)? Once I'd found it, every letter and postcard written in Truro just had to be posted in it.

The glue on this envelope was basically non-existent but luckily it was written in @cafe_uneeka (where everything is delicious) and they very kindly let us have some tape so the card inside would travel safely. It definitely brightened up the envelope too!

One of today's little highlights...

An iced tea and cappuccino from @cafe_uneeka enjoyed in the beautiful Kindred beakers (which you can buy from our shop!) Hand-painted with a glossy ceramic finish, they're made to feel just as good in your hands as they do to drink from.

Don't forget - bring your reusable takeaway cup or beaker when you visit the café and you'll earn an extra stamp on your loyalty card. A little reward for making a more sustainable choice. ☕🌿

Postcards from England.

Nine days on, and these are some of the moments that stayed.

Winding roads, hedgerows, bookshops, benches, sea air, cream teas and small conversations. A journey that gave me far more than photographs - and reminded me that home is something I carry within me.

Grateful. 🤍

Hol and I went and tried the new menu this afternoon and wow.

Firstly, the drinks were so good. I had the sparkling peach and passionfruit cooler and Hol had a raspberry iced tea.

To eat, we shared the cheesy bacon toastie and the Uneeka board (think homemade hummus, pesto and warm sourdough pitta as well as lots of other lovely bits).

With full bellies, we then mooched around the shop and got stocked up on gorgeous cards, @stevalcandles and a few other trinkets.

Thank you so much for inviting us to try the new menu, @cafe_uneeka, it was delicious!

Spring has arrived at Café Uneeka 🌿

The new seasonal menu has landed, bringing with it vibrant brunches, nourishing lunches and plenty of reasons to slow down for an hour or two in the heart of Truro 💙

Expect Turkish eggs, sourdough toasties, green and grain bowls, generously filled ciabattas, fresh cakes and Cornish roasted coffee, alongside vegan and gluten-free options throughout. Everything is prepared fresh each day using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible 🌱

Found above Uneeka Life on Boscawen Street, this much-loved independent café has also just been shortlisted as a Top 10 Cornwall finalist in the Muddy Stilettos Awards for Best Café ☕️

Monday–Friday: 9am–5pm
Sunday: 10:30am–4:30pm

The café is also available for private hire and catering
