so I think I may have found one of Cape Town’s prettiest cake cafés… 🍰🎀

earlier this week I visited @cafechiffon.cpt in Green Point, and this little café is definitely one for the cake lovers!

While they have a variety of pastries and a stellar drinks menu, the real star of the show is what the café is named after: their beautiful chiffon cakes. With a unique selection of flavours, these light and airy cakes are unlike what you’ll find at your typical café.

While they aren’t the cheapest cake slices in Cape Town, I definitely think they’re reasonably priced (and personally, the aesthetics alone make them worth every penny 🤭).

So if you’re a cake lover, a fan of Asian-inspired desserts, or simply on the lookout for your next unique cafe experience, I’d highly recommend adding @cafechiffon.cpt to your list! 🫶🏻

📍 Café Chiffon 🍰

Beautiful design Japanese inspired cakes!

Café Chiffon is one of those places that feels like a little escape from the busy world 🤍☕️

From the beautiful, delicate interiors to the delicious Japanese inspired cakes and coffee, every detail feels thoughtfully done.

The cakes are honestly the star of the show, beautifully presented, delicate and almost too pretty to eat. 🍰✨

Such a lovely spot to slow down, enjoy something sweet and savour the moment. Definitely a café I’d happily visit again!
