My favorite cuisine, done right. 🇹🇭

Southeast Asian food is hands down my favorite cuisine so when I find a Thai spot in Brooklyn doing it right, you already know I had to share. Chili Cafe is a cozy little haven for traditional Thai in Downtown Brooklyn, and they’ve got some new specials worth coming in for.

Here’s what we got into:
🍔 House-Made Mini Burgers ($6.99 each) and yes, the bread is made in-house in different flavors. Bao chicken, pork, and prime tiger steak.
🍛 Shrimp Red Curry rich, creamy, and full of flavor
🍽️ The Café Philly Platter ($68) a loaded sharing tray with fried rice, shrimp pad thai, chicken wings, papaya salad, assorted dumplings, shrimp crackers, and coconut pudding. Perfect for a group.
🥭 Mango Sticky Rice Sundae (NEW) the showstopper. Ube sticky rice, mango ice cream, and fresh mango. A total dream.

Cozy vibes, traditional savory Thai dishes, and new specials you’ll want to try this spot has it all.

If you’re looking for the best Thai food in Brooklyn or a cozy spot for authentic Thai in Downtown Brooklyn, Chili Cafe needs to be on your list.

Dinner with photographer friends means the mini burgers get their own lighting crew.😂📸

But my favorite at Cafe Chili? The Mango Butterfly Pea Sticky Rice Ice Cream Sundae ($11.95). So good, I’d come back just for that.

Cozy back patio, good company and yes, we ordered more food. Four people did not survive on three mini burgers.🤣

Send this to your next dessert date.

Classic mango sticky rice, but make it an indulgent sundae~🥭✨

@cafechilibk has been a beloved Brooklyn staple for 40+ years, and this might just be their sweetest creation yet! Priced at $11.95, their Mango Sticky Rice Sundae is an absolute must try.🥰 Layered with warm, chewy sticky rice, sweet mango, and creamy mango ice cream, it delivers the ultimate sweet and savory comfort in every spoonful!

We also grabbed their colorful new Thai mini burgers, made in house on naturally colored buns with no artificial dyes.🍔 You can get three tasty options: Pork Sausage, Satay Chicken, and Crying Tiger Steak. The crying tiger steak was crazy juicy and hands down my favorite!

Worth noting: sliders are $6.99 each, but getting the $16.99 trio set lets you try all three flavors (available for dine in or to go)!🔥

Save this for your next Brooklyn foodie outing!✨

Thanks for having us @cafechilibk

Colorful mini burgers with Thai flavors AND a mango sticky rice sundae?! 🍔🥭

Cafe Chili’s mini burger set comes with satay chicken, Thai sweet pork sausage and Crying Tiger steak, all served on naturally colored buns. We tried the chicken and steak and enjoyed both, but the Crying Tiger steak was our favorite.

And that mango sticky rice sundae!! Mango ice cream, fresh mango, butterfly pea sticky rice and that crunchy nut and seed topping made such a good combination.

make tasting platters a thing! 🎀

📍Cafe Chili - Brooklyn, New York

this cafe is serving some of the BEST thai food in brooklyn! You absolutely haveee to come in for their afternoon tea + tasting platters for only $38 per person!

Here’s what we ordered:
✨afternoon tea platter $38 per person

I absolutely LOVED every single bite here, their chive pancakes were ultra crispy and not oily, the butterfly pea mango sticky rice was stunningly beautiful and absolutely delicious, the pad thai was sooo comforting and I loved their fresh noodles, the crab fried rice was FLAWLESSLY perfect and such a slept on dish 🤭

🥜they do have items that contain nuts so would strongly suggest you let your waiter know when ordering! But everything featured here is nut free!

🥛so items contained dairy but for the most part things were lactose free!

💌huge thank you to @cafechilibk for having us for your afternoon tea set! Everything was AMAZING!!

I think I just found the cutest Thai afternoon tea experience in Brooklyn!

Welcome to @cafechilibk, where their afternoon tea is only $38 per person and comes with so many cute bites and delicious teas to choose from I went with there thai tea.

If you’re coming with friends, their $68 party platter is a must. You get so many different bites to try and share! From shrimp pad thai, to fried rice to chicken and so much more…

Plus, if you love outdoor dining, their outdoor seating area is such a cute spot to enjoy your meal. If you’re looking for something to drink I had their mango matcha which was really good.

If you’re looking for something sweet i recommend trying their butterfly pea sticky rice. If you love discovering new food spots around Brooklyn, definitely keep this one on your radar!
