Placed 1st place in the 2023 SacState 5k Run in the non-binary category! I had so much fun and the biggest smile on my face through the whole run! I couldn’t have done it without my besties. I’m so proud of them for joining and accomplishing a huge milestone. 🫶🏽🫶🏽

This means so much to me, even more for my communities, and all the folks I’m bringing along. This win is not just for me, but for all transgender, nonbinary, nonconforming youth who are resisting and being unapologetically yourself. ❤️

WE BELONG HERE.
THE FUTURE IS US.
❤️❤️❤️

Part one: It's the start of a new semester which means The State Hornet has a new editorial board working alongside their staff to bring student news without fear or favor to the Sacramento State community.

Swipe to meet "the faces behind the facts" for the spring 2023 semester.

☕️ Get to know the CAFE board! ☕️

Elizabeth is a 4th year Political Science and Journalism major. She joined CAFE in the fall of 2020 and identifies as Guatemalan and Mexican American. 🇬🇹🇲🇽

Her favorite thing about joining CAFE is meeting other students who share similar experiences as her! 🫶🏼
