Had a great time supporting small business. Grabbed lunch from @cafeevoke and took it to @frenzybrewing for a lovely beer. @frenzybrewing was also doing a pint night, so we snagged these great glasses with a beer for $10 each. So cute!! Plus, the weather could not have been better.

What am I thankful for?! So many things but more recently I’m thankful to be part of the Edmond community.

I NEVER thought I would stick around after college. This small town girl really loved the small town, I liked knowing people and feeling part of something instead of just another random person.

Our family has found that in Edmond. We make it known we are here by the sheer number of times we visit downtown, we WANT to know these business owners, their families, to celebrate their success because we feel like it’s success for all of us.

As we got our coffee this morning at @cafeevoke I was reminded of how much this community feels like home now and I’m so grateful that my kids get to grow up in a place that feels like home. ❤️

pressing pause - every wednesday morning I take time to sabbath. read, eat some good waffles, look at trees, sleeping in, walking on leaves, see a good friend, you name it. doing things that fill the soul in order to pour into others is a must.

Save the Date! November 18th I’ll be doing my first official show. I’m going to be one of eight local makers featured at the Holiday Makers Market @cafeevoke on November 18th from 5-8 pm. All of my pieces will be available for purchase with prices ranging from $20 up to $250. I’ll have a good selection of hefty end grain cutting boards, some bread boards, plenty of charcuterie boards, a number of large live edge serving pieces, and even a couple of my custom resin tables. I’ll post some more pics to my account later today, in the meantime, enjoy this beauty! Would love to see you all November 18th if you can make it out. It will be a great opportunity to get some awesome early Christmas shopping done and you’ll be supporting local makers too!
