POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Coffee tastes better in the desert. ☕️🌵

Whether you’re heading into the park, easing into a slow morning, or looking for a good latte + pastry, these are our favorite coffee stops around Joshua Tree + Yucca Valley:

☕ @masomenosbar
☕ @cafefrontier
☕ @dezfinefood
☕ @jtcoffeeco
☕ @nicedream.yv (also the best matcha in town!)
☕ @lunasourdough
☕️ @matsonambroisegallery

And a little @gaiavillajoshuatree insider note: the organic coffee we serve our guests at the Villa comes from @jtcoffeeco. 🧡

Save this for your next Joshua Tree trip + comment “CAFE” to get our full list of where to eat & drink in the desert.

Visiting WONDER MAN Filming Locations in Greater LA Area 💥 PT8 🕶️

Over the summer we visited #WonderMan filming locations all over the greater LA area. (This one took us a bit farther!)

First up this time is @desertchristpark. This is one of the various Yucca Valley establishing shots in E8. It’s a beautiful sculpture park with many biblical figures and structures scattered throughout. Worth a visit!

Next up is Doc’s Inn in Santa Clarita. This acts as Murphy’s Bar in “Yucca Valley.” Simon meets with Chuck Eastman, acting as if he’s researching for a new role.

After that, we have another establishing shot, this time in Pacoima. This Danny Trejo mural appears in E3, titled “Pacoima”. It’s on Van Nuys Blvd.

Back to E8, we have another establishing shot, this time of @cafefrontier in Joshua Tree. We had a great lunch there.

Our final establishing shot for now is from the same episode, featuring the High Desert Motel, on the same road in Joshua Tree.

Rounding out the post is a road in “Yucca Valley” where Simon and Chuck take a jog. This is actually on Darling Rd in Santa Clarita, near part of Agua Dulce Movie Ranch, where Chuck’s house was filmed.

These are the last Wonder Man slides for now :( but stay tuned…FULL FILMING LOCATION VIDEO COMING SOON TO YOUTUBE!

Reminder that our next meeting will be on the 30th!

Please wear a costume or festive outfit. Please don’t wear anything scary or demonic, since we’ll be in a public setting where children and families visit the café. Let’s keep things cute, cozy, and festive! 🤍

Please bring a fall or Halloween themed book. Everyone is also welcome to bring non scary Halloween treats to share!
