Maybe I’m not complicated.

I just like coffee shops, thrift stores, bookstores, art galleries and music that makes ordinary life feel cinematic.

Intentional living doesn’t have to be extravagant. Sometimes it’s simply paying attention.

🥫🧀🌭Campers, Glampers! B&B’ers and ATV’ers! Flyfishers, Jetsetters! Before you head out of town, check your fridge and pantry! If you have unexpired unopened food, don’t let it go bad while you’re gone, drop it off at a local 24/7 community fridge or pantry. You’ll help save food, while helping your neighbors.

💖Rent out a cottage, run a glamping site, or have lots of out-of-town guests? Please let them know about local pantries, or leave a box where they can donate extras before they hit the road!

☮️🕊️✌️🇺🇸Share when you can. Take when you need. We all survive and thrive together.

💌Please note none of these businesses or organizations are affiliated with us in any way—we just love them and want them to continue to be here for a long time to come.💌

DEEP READING SERIES
Please join us at the lovely Café Joust in Catskill for the first of our community-based Deep Reading events, which bring people together around great literature and exploratory conversation.

All are welcome!

May 17th, 5pm
Café Joust
365 Main St, Catskill
Free admission
Facilitated by Danniel Schoonebeek
Co-presented by Northern Spy Reading Series

**Please RSVP at the link in our bio

Deep Reading Night is a relaxed, screen-free gathering where we’ll read and discuss one poem, revealed only when we meet, and chosen for its openness, emotional range, and relevance to many different lives.

Facilitator Danniel Schoonebeek will guide us through reading it aloud, noticing details, and talking together about what we find; no expertise or prep required. If you like words, questions, and good conversation, you’re welcome.

~

This event is funded in part by Poets & Writers with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
