POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are happy to be one of the first @cafeobjets , @galleriaobjets resident artists.

Patch Design is a London-based studio founded by @naisheen_shi and @peggiieyue , dedicated to transforming marine plastic waste into vibrant, story-driven objects. By fusing 3D printing with traditional hand-weaving techniques from coastal communities, their work bridges material innovation with cultural preservation.

The objects displaced in now is Knotlum, a modular lighting collection comprising table and pendant lamps, reimagines the maritime lantern through the language of traditional knots. Crafted from recycled ocean plastic and handwoven elements, Knotlum offers reconfigurable lighting that honors seafaring craft while embracing flexibility, sustainability, and tactile warmth.

Now on display at Cafe Objects, visit us to experience the work in person.

NAOMI HAWKSLEY ( @num.nuum ) -
(b. 2000, San Francisco, CA) is an artist based in New York.

'My drawing practice reflects on this process of choice and consequence.
I use graphite on paper to emphasise a wish for slowness, and forgiveness in the face of those decision. The works are often encased in small, protective acrylic boxes becoming meditations on interiority, morality and ethics.'

NAOMI MARCHBANK ( @nay.ohh.mi ) is a multi-disciplinary artist and curator living in London.

'My practice is guided by a logical and almost ritualistic approach. I work through repetition, using the grid as both a structure and a discipline. It allows me to step away from my subject matter while meditating through my medium.'

'I’m drawn to the tension between imperfect handmade mark making and mathematical aesthetics. While using controlled systems in my drawings, I further look to trace fading fragments of life memory in pencil.'

JUN RUI LO ( @ryanmoyii_ ) Hong Kong-born artist and curator currently based in Manchester.

‘Drawing in its broader sense, whether on paper, engraving on wood, or even creating sculptural forms—which I see as spatial drawing, is the core of my practice. Having been drawing since early childhood, I find it the most natural, spontaneous, and accessible way of expression that I always return to. Drawing is a language that I speak.’
