Honestly would not recommend this book willy-nilly. It is a very ‘know your audience’ before recommending.

Probably the darkest book I’ve read. Which, I know there are darker books out there...and I’ve probably read them and considered them ‘soft ‘n’ cute’.
But this one really did it for me in terms of ‘Oof.’

HEED the warnings for this one, Besties ❤ I’d hate for anyone to be triggered - genuinely x

I devoured this book! The premise and story are absolutely fascinating, thought-provoking, and captivating. The audiobook narrated by Michelle H. Lee and Major Curda was also incredible, certain parts of the book were so cool to listen to and it was so well done!

I had the opportunity to speak with @isabeljkim about Sublimation earlier today thanks to @torbooks and my wonderful friend Karina @caffeinated_reads3 was also able to read the book early and join us as well for such a good conversation. Here is my take on an AANHPI flat lay! Thank you @caffeinated_reads3 for the inspiration 💜 perfect for flat lay Friday!!

Thought these were all pulled from my TBR shelf but my two brain cells swapped Untethered Sky with Jade Legacy like a fool. I have read the Greenbone Saga. I still need to read the rest of Fonda Lee’s books.

Anyway I hope to read these soon but I am the WORST mood reader ever so who knows when I’ll knock these out.

📚💕 BookCon 2026 highlights 💕📚

I feel so lucky to have gotten the chance to go to bookcon! One of my favorite parts of the weekend was meeting up IRL with so many of my favorite people I have met through this community!

We were all so busy all weekend, I realized once we got home we didn't take a photo all together... so the Polaroids from the source event I will cherish forever 💕

I also cannot fit every book/ goodie I got signed or received into one picture... so this little crowded table photo with some of my favs will have to do 🤣

Was it chaotic and did the event need a larger space and better crowd control.. absolutely. But we made the best of it and I got to meet some of my favorite authors and get all my favorite book signed!! I also loved meeting new authors in indie alley it was such a blast down in that area. I also went a cozy panel at love and legends the next day, and that was also such an amazing time.

It was a very overstimulating event for me, so I can't even imagine what it might have been like for the authors. I am seeing some negativity about meeting authors on tictok. Just remember we don't always know what their day was like, and try to allow them some grace and kindness if something didn't go exactly as planned when you met them💕

People keep asking me if I would go again, yes I think if they got a bigger venue, better reso drop system for authors, had more employees and better crowd control especially with the ARC drops cause that was insane even if you weren't partaking in them... then yes I would go again!

It was A LOT but I absolutely loved spending time with my book besties and meeting so many booksta friends IRL! I am terrible at taking photos when I'm busy so the first slide is literally all the photos I have 😂 hopefully things will run more smoothly next year but I don't think I'll be there to find out. There were still some lovely interactions and experiences though! 💖
