Last clues....lite feathers... yet to be bisqued. Let's hope the kiln gods are kind and this ends up in one piece. So now you know... confirm it in the comments.

Hand built ceramic and driftwood ships. Think I'll put a couple in the Edge 2 Edge exhibition in the Peoples Gallery opening Saturday 1st August.

The team ventured back to Baypark for some much needed seat time before the North Island Champs In a fortnight. Clear sunny skies welcomed us as we arrived at the track around 4ish. 18 cars were in the pits ready to rock. Managed go draw pole position for the first Heat, the track was a still a bit tacky in places after we went out for a wheel pack. Got a pretty good start but not enough to take the lead into the first corner. Managed to stay 2nd for most of the race until the yellows came on. Lost a bit of momentum and dropped to 5th (poor restart). Was happy with my position until the very last lap and the last corner where I half spun and lost a few places on the line. Was annoyed at myself but good to know the back end is now working as it should! Heat two was a right cock up. Was meant to start on 10 instead we were pushed a few rows back. Managed to start passing a few cars around the outside on the green until we approached turns 3-4 when a pileup occurred. I did see it However another car swerved to avoid the mess and I couldn’t stop in time. Extensive damage to the LF of the car ending our night. Was a real shame as saloons were given 4 races. Done approx 10 meetings now so I guess we have been rather lucky with little damage until now. Looking at the extent of the suspension tonight and depending what needs to be fixed and $ will determine whether we are at Kihikihi this coming Saturday or not. Will keep you all posted. Wanna say a big shout out to my amazing crew: Dad, Scotty, Ry, Raych, Cat, Jordan and Ghia for all your help and support. Also a massive thanks to Jamie Fox for the new tyre - shame we didn’t get to try it out properly mate! Hoping our luck changes next time come NI - Cheers D-Highy 81A 🏁
