Books that sound like... Like Animals - BTS 🎧 📚 And.. we're back! It's been a minute since I've had time to dedicate to this series, and I'm so happy to be back with some more book recs ♡ Like Animals by BTS made me think of the obvious connections like dangerous mythical beasts, but it also made me think of a love that was territorial, something deeper than attraction. An all-consuming love where you would put the other person before yourself. Happy Book Lovers Day!! Falling in love with reading in adulthood has healed something in me. As an anxious kid who never had their parents read to them, dreaded reading out loud in class, and had a hard time finishing books for her book reports, I thought for a long time that books and reading just weren't for me. Fast forward to 2023, where all of that started to change for me. I, like many, fell hard for the gateway drug that was the ACOTAR series. I went on to consume lots of romantasy until I found myself in more than my romance era (is it still an era if it's been 2 years??). Reading has become a staple in my life. I love reading about love and the introspection that these stories provide. I'm so happy to have a partner who shares in my love of reading. It took a long time, but books have finally turned from a world I lived outside of to a joy that I can't be without.
