A few favorite details from TGen Runway for Research 💗

One of my favorite things about what I do is finding ways to bring fashion and philanthropy together. Beyond the beautiful moments and all the details, it’s events like these that remind me of the bigger purpose behind it all.

The incredible work TGen is doing to advance research and bring hope to so many families is something that feels especially meaningful right now. A reminder that you never know when a cause might hit a little closer to home, and why supporting organizations like TGen matters so much.

The beautiful pictures from the event including those of guests are available to view and purchase at scottfouststudios.com with the password T-Gen. You can find the event under proofs. @scottfouststudios

Today Briella had treatment, and during her appointment her doctor said something I don’t think she realized we both really needed to hear.

I mentioned how much I felt like the ketamine during her last hospitalization had finally turned a corner for her. She stopped me and said, “Don’t give all the credit to the ketamine.”

She reminded us that Briella is doing the work. That we are following what her doctors are asking of us, making changes, and continuing to show up.

But the part that really got me was when she said that we are acknowledging the pain while still doing life the way Briella should be doing life.

We aren’t pretending the pain isn’t there. We acknowledge it. We treat it. We respect what her body is telling us. But we aren’t teaching her to fear it or allowing her health to become her entire identity.

And apparently, that matters more than I realized.

What an incredible thing to have someone recognize after everything we have walked through. Because there has been SO much work behind the scenes from both of us.

Her treatments and doctors have helped tremendously, but Briella deserves credit too. She keeps showing up. She keeps doing the work. She keeps choosing to live her life even when her body makes it difficult.

And I’m really freaking proud of us. 🤍

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.”
Isaiah 43:2

We aren’t waiting for the waters to disappear. We’re learning how to keep living while we walk through them. 🤍 and that deserved celebration today…..always buy the pretty plant and celebrate with a little espresso🪴 ☕️

A coffee shop in the middle of a nursery?! 🌿☕️ Caffio Espresso Bar is such a fun and unique spot! I loved the Masala Spice Chai Latte, and the Fiore de Rosa is a must if you’re feeling iced tea. Drinks came out fast, and you can browse all the plants while you wait 🌱✨ Such a cute spot to grab a drink and wander around! #coffee #phoenixcoffee #phoenix

A peaceful little hidden gem in Downtown Phoenix 🌿☕️

I took my 2-year-old on a little solo date to wander through the beautiful plants at Pueblo, enjoy the greenery, and grab coffee from the Caffio Espresso coffee cart. And the coffee was SO good! 🤎

It was such a peaceful, unexpected toddler outing—and honestly, sometimes Mom needs a little peace and quiet too. 💚

If you’re looking for things to do with toddlers in Phoenix, add this one to your list!

Save this for your next Phoenix toddler outing. 🌿
