When I think of September, I think of sewing!🤓
Not so much for what will be sewn this month, but for the reflection and planning this season brings, looking ahead at the cozy season to come and the creative projects we look forward to crafting😊✂️🫖🍵

And with that, sewing projects are on the mind! 🪡

I’ll be looking forward to making myself some striped Nico pants, a long plaid Nico skirt, and a Tulip dress to layer with sweaters😍 Do you have any Fortiv patterns on your mind?

Production design is what transforms a location into another time and place.

For BREAKTHROUGH, every detail helped create the world of 1944. From the trenches and battlefield to the smallest elements of each set, authenticity was at the heart of every decision.

Congratulations to Leo Award nominees Madison Stenner, @st.mads Jason Arkell-Boles @jasonarkellboles, Cai Holm @caiholm and Ava La Pena for their outstanding work in Production Design. Their creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail helped immerse audiences in the world of BREAKTHROUGH.

We are proud to celebrate their nomination and the remarkable work they brought to the film.

That’s a wrap on Banff.

A few days. Countless conversations. New connections. Lots of learning.

I arrived with a comedy series and a dream. I’m leaving with new relationships, fresh ideas, and a clearer path forward.

I also had the chance to meet some awesome Canadian actors along the way.

The journey continues.

I got to meet Kim Coates, who couldn’t have been more gracious. I was a huge fan of Bad Blood, so this was a pretty fun surprise.

Spectacular views from every window!

One of my favourite conversations at Banff was with Andrew Phung.

Successful. Generous. Thoughtful.

He took the time to offer advice, answer questions, and encourage a creator he had never met before.

Talent gets people noticed. Kindness gets remembered.

Thank you, Andrew!

Spent the day trying to get into to see Crave executives. Turns out elevator doors are not the same as development executives. 😂

Happy to be there cheering on my new friend Alexandra Lacey as she won her first Rockie Award for “The Twister: Caught in the Storm” documentary.

Congratulations, Alex. What an incredible achievement and a well-deserved win.

Some people you meet and immediately feel like you’ve known them for years.

Ragini was one of those people.

Funny, warm, authentic, and an absolute delight to spend time with.

Cai Holm and I had a bit of a Freaky Friday moment.

She was wearing her mother’s outfit.
I was wearing my daughter’s dress.

Too Funny!

Closing night at Banff.

Dance Party!
