Wedding Post #2

HUUUGE thank you to @vicjames2.0 and @peibooknerd for taking our direction of "poutine bar" and making it beyond anything we could have hoped for. If you need anyone to bake for you or cater your event, hit Vic up!!!

And a HUGE shout-out to @bagtownbrewing and @maddalena.anthony for hosting us. As I said to our decorating committee, you're starting with a beautiful canvas! Bagtown was the perfect space for our celebrations, and Tony was the most accommodating and flexible host we could have asked for. Host your private events at Bagtown!!!

Wedding pic drop #1!!

The festivities were everything we could have dreamed of. We feel so loved and so indescribably happy.

I'm lucky to know and to love @jeawolfe who is not only an incredible friend and member of this community, but also a talented photographer.

We also had a huge crew spend hours decorating to make it extra special for us. Thank you more than words can say @shann_liu @liu_manley @alexandrafraser_98 @mdmeekins @caitcrawf23 @sarah.cook_ @missyl09 @robinlighty @jenboomer

Happy Birthday to my incredible best friend, Caitlin! 🎉🎂

Caitlin, you are the definition of a strong woman—resilient, confident, and one of my absolute favorite people on this earth. The amount of space our conversations take up on my phone exceeds everyone else by more than 2 GBs, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

In so many ways, you’re the Katya to my Trixie. Your dark, witty sense of humor and your unique outlook on life make our weird personalities work so well together. I love Christmas, you hate it; you talk to everyone at events, and I avoid it—but that’s what makes our friendship so special.

When we show up to drag shows, we’re like David and Goliath—you, tall and usually dressed in a floor-length kimono, and me short and stout in some straight guy’s clothes. No one can ever tell if we’re gay or straight, together or just friends—but the queens love us, and that’s all that matters!

Caitlin, you’re more than a friend to me; you’re family. We met in a way that was no coincidence—first as at Tims, then a random encounter at a gas station, and finally, at a hotel in Halifax. I believe the world was nudging us together, and I’m so grateful it did.

Thank you for being you, Cait. I’m so grateful for you today and every day. ❤️
