One for the books 💙✨ Driving home from Nationals 2025 at 10pm I called @nicoletheodore_hsd and said I had the idea and the song for next year…full company + Florence, and she said “Let’s do it!” (Pretty great to create in a place where teachers all support each other). Shout out to our minis who held their own in rehearsals with 60+ dancers. Thanks to @caitlyn_tapdancing for letting the reprise of Like River Runs be included 😘This was a dream to make and I’ll keep a little Echo of Light in my heart forever. Love these dancers.

🎂🔥 #ThursdayTapThrowback:

It NEVER, EVER gets old. 🔥💖

It was 27 years ago when Ms. Nicole (@nicoletapz) won the title of @missamericadc. It was 26 years ago when she performed this fierce, ferocious, and feisty tap solo to Benny Goodman’s “Sing, Sing, Sing” during the 1999 Miss America Pageant.

Give your attention to her eyebrows at the beginning. The minute you saw her eyebrows go up, you KNEW something was about to happen, and you weren’t ever gonna forget it as long as you lived.

Nicole saw to that. 🔥

I hope none of you ever get tired of seeing this solo, because I sure haven’t. It’s just SO. GOOD.

And it just goes to show you, even a quarter century later, Ms. Nicole’s still got it! 🔥🔥🔥

Ladies and gentlemen… once again, one of the most amazing tap dancers today, Miss DC 1998, the beloved Ms. Nicole Messina. 💜
