yesterday, I spent the evening with @hannah.peckham of @beyondthebusinesscard_ celebrating the launch of ‘the network’

a lush evening bringing together likeminded professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs in Cardiff, with an excuse to sample some of the best the city has to offer 🍻

Some weeks, you’ll be motivated. Other weeks, you’ll need the people around you.

That’s normal.

Consistency was never supposed to mean feeling ready to train every time.

Sometimes you walk through the door feeling great.

Sometimes you’ve had a long week and would quite happily give it a miss.

But then you get here.

Someone asks how you are.
The session starts.
The room gets going.
And before you know it, you’ve trained.

That’s why the environment you put yourself in matters.

You still have to turn up and do the work.

But doing it alongside people who know your name, notice when you’re there and make training something you actually look forward to makes consistency a lot easier.

You don’t need perfect weeks. You need something worth coming back to.

ad 🪩 Goodbye Par 59, helloooo @lane7_! What a transformation, loads more to do - can see this being a popular venue for Christmas parties this year 👀 sound like it’s gonna be a great spot for watching sport too, there are screens everywhere!

Here’s a round up of all the activities at Lane 7:

🎳 6 bowling lanes
🍹 Tech shuffleboard
⛳️ Big Putts golf
🎤 Private karaoke room
🍺 Beer pong tables
🎯 Interactive darts
👾 SO MANY arcade games
🎱 Pool tables
📸 Photo booth

I didn’t try any of the food but the nachos and hotdogs looked great, no doubt the other food bloggers have got you covered 🙂‍↕️ I can say that my spicy marg was a stunner and I hope to have many more in my future! And I love my lil temp tattoo 🍸

Thanks for the invite @lane7_ x @wcs.agency 🫶
