Dear Austin College,

You were the best and worst four years of my life.

I came to Austin College thinking I knew exactly who I was gonna be, and somehow I’m leaving as a completely different person. I got to be a collegiate athlete, found passions I care about so deeply, met people who changed my life forever, and lost people I thought would always be there too.

I laughed until I cried here and cried harder than I ever have. I stayed out too late, danced at Calhoun’s, sat in parking lots talking for hours, stressed over assignments that don’t matter anymore, went to Dutch Bro’s more times than I can count, served my community through APO, went on random side quests, worked at my favorite daycare, and somehow found people who wanted to be my friends through all of it.

This place watched me grow up. It watched me fail, heal, change, lose people, love people, and figure out who I actually want to be.

There were so many moments where I couldn’t wait to leave, but now that it’s over, I would give anything to do it all one more time.

Forever grateful for every person, every memory, every heartbreak, and every version of myself that existed here.
