A friend recently said to me "𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦." I've always thought Ma was a Girl Mum at her core, and through the circumstances of life ended up raising three boys on her own. But it felt like she was at least supposed to have one daughter to share all her energy, stories and sensibilities with.

I've taken stock in the fact that she'd be happy to know her son has so many sisters – amazing, talented and hard working women in his life, like Ma.

grateful to continue learning from Anton and the @no_quarter_boxing_gym fam, who always meet me with both dogged commitment and wildly unserious behaviour, day in and day out 🧡💙 proudest of myself for believing that I deserve good things but that nothing is ever owed to me ~ so i work hard, play hard, eat hard (oop!!) … and work hard again 👼

The spirit of vengeance claimed its 50 km PB and pledged commitment to hit sub 4 hours. "Inch or a mile ..." We did it. My 1/2 big runs this year in the books.

Rode on Swiss wings and a super supportive network of friends, colleagues and family today. #can4cancer @tourdecureaus 2026. The donations and messages make a little soreness on my end go a long way for those going through it, and those cracking on in the Cancer Research and Treatment Field, trying to do more with limited resources at present. Total raised by the runners today $57k ~ and climbing still.

Massive thanks to my crews @chinatownrunclubsyd , @no_quarter_boxing_gym and @on for the race day tech!

The last year of my 30s. No other way I would want to spend this day.

First Official Brazilian Jiu-jitsu match. Thank you @kapinchojiujitsusydney Family. @studiokyss my big brother for bringing me back to grappling after I had called it a day in a life of wrestling. @antoniopedrodias an amazing human being. Muito Obrigado, Irmao 💪🏼🫱🏽‍🫲🏼🥋

Renato , @theofficialcraigb , and everyone who's been an amazing mentor, teammate and fam this past 7 months, THANK YOU! I have much to technically work on—the best part is being in love with the work.

Wrestling is to suffer and find meaning in the suffering. We fight to live through it because everything is fighting and living. Tomorrow we're right back home—on the mats/roads/in the ring.

year of the horse, of turning 30, of doing hard things with the whole stable in my corner 💛🐁 was reminded that i’m tougher than I think but still soft and open to the world, and I owe that to the loved ones who tend to the grass around me

fully cried the morning of my fight cos I realised I couldn’t remember a year where I’ve worked harder, or a year when I’ve felt happier, braver or more loved :,,,,,)

(1) incredibly grateful to everyone who helped us out w the mutual aid campaigns + book sales this year for Pa.lestini.an families in Ga/za and @firstnationsaid (full $AUD amount raised in 2nd slide!) ~ mvps, you know who you are ~ all families’ campaigns linked in my bio, pls continue supporting them

(2) taking a short break from competing next year to work on The Book for my writer’s residency at @air.hue (cheers @creatensw for the funding) ~ excited to continue training and writing in historic Huế

(3) saw 37 playscripts transform from word document to real-life book at work this year :) thanks to @diversityartsau @simoneameliajordan for having me speak briefly at the MCA about envisioning a more equitable future for publishing, as part of their Shifting the Balance leadership program (photo by Benjamin Tiger La) / thank you @evillordhaha for her wisdom as a continued mentor and big sister from the very start of my time in this industry

(4) have never been so jacked in ma life fr. infinitely grateful to Anton and the Knuckleheads fam (past and present) for looking after me inside and outside the ring; not one word in that forthcoming fluff piece about our @no_quarter_boxing_gym community will be hyperbole

(5) thank you Astrid for your kind words after the last fight, and for seeing me grow as a boxer over the past 7 months @sydneyfightleague.
