Aloha gangy, our celebration of love has come to a close and I’m so excited to commemorate this journey celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth! Honored to share my first reggae song in this collab with my brada/boss man, @calvin.canha @drumwise_ !

This is my mahalo to #BlackExcellence in #BlackCulture as it has inspired and influenced so much of the foundation of how I use my voice. I will forever be grateful to the artists who have paved the way and laid the blueprint in the arts for the world to witness!

While also tying in my identity as Hawaiian and honoring the influence that reggae music has left here in Hawai‘i. This song is my humble offering to pay homage to the people who have given us so much here in the Hawai‘i music industry.

This could not have been possible without my brada, boss man producer, @calvin.canha @drumwise_ . He is a master at what he does and I am honored to release this song with my big bro. We hope you love it and learn from it.

I know it’s super long but please watch the video post to hear my heart and the intention we strived to implement in releasing this song. Well, it took a literal 10 years but my baby is out in the world to be shared with all of you.

Thank you for all the love you guys have shown me on my previous post, even if you didn’t watch the whole video, thank you for indulging me and listening to me yap for 13 minutes lol

It may sound so dramatic to some people but this song is truly so special to me. I’ve been so protective over her for all these years because it truly means so much to me. It’ll be one of the best songs I will ever write and record for the rest of my life. Much of that is due to @izikfamous 💙 I love you forever bu. Thank you for this gift that has fed me and will continue to feed me. Thank you for making me feel the prettiest that I have ever felt on camera. You literally have given of yourself to this song from conception to completion. 🙏🏽

The celebration of love continues as I will be dropping my 2nd of 3 singles this month, NEXT WEEK THURSDAY, FEB 12, MY BIRTHDAY. “Wildflower” is my sad gurl love song anthem that I can’t wait to share with you folks. This song has been 10 years in the making and I’m so overjoyed and extremely emotional that she is ready to flourish in the world.
