Flammy clapstack groove I made for the brilliant people from @istanbulagop a couple of weeks back, getting a repost here.

Stick around for one of those inverted double stroke stick/hand fill ins you're always going on about.

My new clapstack from the good folks at @istanbulagop + @brdistribution has sent me on such a UK garage nostalgia trip

If you don't recognise it, there's a hint at which absolute banger from 2000 this groove is inspired by not so subtly hidden in the video - any guesses?

I've been singing it for days and you will be too if you get it

I was determined to get as close as I could to the original part but had to drop a skip beat here and there because playing drum kit parts with one hand + one stick is a silly thing to do

Adding live congas and cajon to the infectious bounce of ‘Tauba Tauba’ by @karanaujla 🥁🔥

The Punjabi-pop swing on this track leaves room for punchy cajon bass kicks and snappy open slaps on the drops.

Bringing acoustic congas and cajon into the soul-stirring world of ‘Die With A Smile’ by @ladygaga & @brunomars 🥁✨

The 6/8 swing on this track leaves so much space for warm low-end bass tones and crisp edge slaps.
