Nothing means more to me as an educator than hearing how much a provider has gained from our time together. 🤍

#latepost The week before last, I had the pleasure of speaking with local clinicians in Clarksville about cancer screening and early detection.

We discussed routine colorectal cancer screening with Cologuard Plus® and multi-cancer early detection with Cancerguard®, including how these tests fit into the broader screening landscape and the importance of continuing recommended screenings.

As cancer screening continues to evolve, ongoing medical education helps clinicians stay informed and have meaningful conversations with their patients!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the NPWH conference and join @abbottglobal for an educational discussion on advancing cancer screening in women and the important role women’s health clinicians can play in earlier detection across the cancer continuum.

We explored how routine colorectal cancer screening with the Cologuard Plus® test and multi-cancer early detection with the Cancerguard® test can support earlier detection in the women’s health setting. Ongoing medical education plays a critical role in helping clinicians stay current as the cancer screening landscape continues to evolve!

I’ve never really fit the mould of your typical medical aesthetician.

But that’s kind of the point 😏 There’s a reason they call me one of one.

🎙️ The episode is officially out!

I had the pleasure of joining @doctoriansmith on the Black Health Unfiltered Podcast to talk about why exercise is about so much more than appearance. It is one of the most powerful tools we have for preventing chronic disease, protecting our independence and improving our quality of life.

We discussed HIIT, strength training, common barriers to getting started and how small, consistent changes can lead to major health benefits.

Because the best workout is not always the hardest one. It’s the one you will actually keep doing. 💪🏾

Listen now on YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Pandora, Amazon Music or the Mean Ole Lion Media app.

Let me know your biggest takeaway after you listen! 🎧

You Cannot fill your way out of tissue descent!!!
#threadmasterkay
It’s structural descent.

We have been taught to believe every shadow, fold, or hollow needs filler. But after 40, the real issue is often:
• ligament laxity
• fat pad descent
• skin quality changes
• bone remodelling
• loss of structural support

You cannot “fill” your way out of tissue descent.

This is why some faces eventually begin to look heavy, swollen, or overfilled instead of naturally refreshed.

The future of aesthetics is understanding facial architecture, repositioning tissue intelligently, and restoring harmony not simply adding volume everywhere.

Energy devices, collagen stimulation, threads, skin quality, regenerative medicine… each modality has a place when we understand HOW the face truly ages.

Ageing is multifactoral.
Treatment should be too.
