On 3 February 2022, the Los Angeles-based @calderquartet gives the world premieres of the latest string quartets by @paulwiancko and @mathildewantenaar. The rest of the programme is rounded out by works by Charles Ives and Henriëtte Bosmans, roughly contemporaries of each other in the first half of the last century. Bound by time but separated by continents, "Missed Connections" is a concert not to be missed.

Inspired by innovative artist Alexander Calder, the Calder Quartet’s desire to bring immediacy and context to the works they perform, creates an artfully crafted musical experience. Hear classics such as Beethoven & Bartok quartet, as well as new arrangements, October 6th only!

This Friday (7 pm CEST) we’ll be going live for the third time! This time Tomas Djupsjöbacka (cello / Meta4), Vineta Sareika (violin / Artemis Quartett) and Tereza Stanislav (violin / Calder Quartet) will be questioned by Cibrán Sierra (violin / Cuarteto Quiroga) and answer your questions. This time no weird echo in the sound, we promise 😉 DM us your questions or ask them live during the stream. See you on Friday!
