What a swing today. Started dead calm and light out of the NNW around dawn, 2ft of leftover south swell just rolling in, barely a ripple on top of it. Perfect window for the early crew.

Won’t stay that way though. There’s a Strong Wind Warning out for today.. that nor’wester keeps building all morning, swings northerly, then west/nor’west into the arvo, and by tonight we’re looking at 25 to 30 knots plus a decent chance of a thunderstorm offshore. Seas building to 1.5-2.5m out wide.

Tomorrow’s a different story again.. moderate westerly first up, easing to a southerly in the afternoon, but at least it clears out sunny.

A few mornings into spring now, since the proper start of it on the 1st, and it’s still settling in, corellas up before anyone, the swim squad in early, joggers and dog walkers trickling in as the sun got going.

Get amongst it — have a great weekend.
