Full Recovery & Mobility Day with Butler WBB @des.macharia_ 🏀

Here’s a little recap of Destiny’s session with us before she left for her Sophmore campaign at her new school.

A lot of athletes will skip days like this, saying they’re “wasting time” or that should be hitting the weights instead or that the time could be used differently. We believe the recovery days are just as important as the training days. It keeps us healthy, mobile & reduces susceptibility to injury.

That is why Destiny is playing at the top level in her sport collegiately. She takes care of her body. She goes the extra mile with every advantage she can get. She trains hard, and then recovers harder 💯

☀️ SUMMER 2026 RECAP ☀️

What. A. Summer. 🔥

This has officially been our biggest summer yet, and I couldn’t be more grateful for every athlete, parent, and family who trusted us with their development this summer. & a huge shoutout to the amazing trainers that made this summer incredible!

From early mornings to late nights, we put in A LOT of work. 🫡

Hundreds of sessions. Countless reps. New athletes. Returning athletes. Personal bests. More confidence. More development.

And most importantly — a lot of athletes getting closer to reaching their TRUE POTENTIAL.

Summer may be over, but the work doesn’t stop.

If you didn’t get the chance to train with us this summer, or you’re looking to prepare for your upcoming winter or summer sport, now is the time to get started.

📲 Fall training is OPEN.

Let’s build now so you’re ready when it matters most.

The next season starts in what you do outside of it.

💎 The reality of being a trainer. 💎

Going into Year 10, I think a lot of people see the current product of what I have created & do not know how much went into it over the years.

Several people told me (including some I believed were friends) that I should get a real career, that training is just a job.

More than half the time, I held at least one other side job to keep the dream alive. Several instances where I trained athletes for free to gain exposure and experience. More than one occasion where I took on volunteer opportunities or unpaid internships that were full-time. Countless numbers of years where my days consisted of 10-12 hours of work and only a portion of those hours was actually paid. & honestly, more times than I could count that I wanted to listen to those who told me to just get a ‘real job’, something with consistent pay and hours.

But something in me said I did not want a normal life. Something in me said “this is your calling”. And I am glad I never listened to anyone else but that calling. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but even more excited about how far there is left to go. Thank you to all of those that believed in me - the support has always meant everything - as well as the amazing coaches/trainers I’ve learned from and work with today. & thank you to those that did not - that disbelief has been just as powerful and motivating in making sure I prove them wrong.

Something I once dreamt about, I’m currently living in the middle of it. & that’s something I can’t put into words when I think about 🥹

You want something in life, go after it. Put your head down. Keep showing up. & Believe in yourself. Your timeline (& life) doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.

With PT school starting and school starting up for athletes I worked with this summer, I didn’t want to forget to acknowledge all the opportunities and memories I had at Chiseled. It was great working with all the athletes.

Thank you @mingling28 and @coachrocky__ for all the opportunities you guys gave me and everything I learned. I know that everything I learned and all the experiences I had will take me far in the physical therapy world.

Thank you to the athletes for trusting me in your athletic journey! All of you guys have a special place in my heart. All of you guys are going to kill it during your upcoming seasons.

💎 2026s End of Summer Pics 💎  Another beautiful summer has wrapped up, & as always, I put together a compilation of pictures for those going off to their respective schools (+ this time, with a few extra transfers in the mix!). I try my best to get a picture with each one of them on their final day, but feel like I missed a few in the midst of the chaos.   Reflecting, a lot of these athletes are ones I have trained or coached since their Sophomore year (the same year I returned back from California). And it is crazy to think how 3 years (let alone this summer) with them have truly flew by. I’ve watched them grow up into young men & women and now they’re flying solo and off into the real world.   It means the world to have their trust & support, and to know that I was able to have that time with them. These kids mean absolutely everything to me, my little brothers and sisters. And I do not think you will be able to find a trainer in this area that cares that much about his athletes. It’s why I do what I do. Regardless of the wins & losses, accolades, trophies, those moments with them and making a positive impact & difference in their lives - that is what it is all about ❤️
