I am heartbroken. I am also filled with gratitude that I was able to meet Dolly in 2015 and tell her how much she and her music have meant to me throughout my life. After we hugged goodbye, I said to her, “Dolly, I will always love you.” She stepped toward me, wrapped both of her hands around mine, and said, “I love you too, darlin’.”

Rest easy and fly free, @dollyparton . You were truly an angel on earth.🫶🏼🦋

The only thing harder than trying to figure out a good and not stupid way to surprise my magnificent and magical friend, @youngbradford, for his epic 50th birthday celebration, has been trying to choose my favorite photos from a weekend I will remember with the greatest of joy for the rest of my life. More pics to come, but I feel like this post just needs to be #scarlettball and it’s a color story . I love you so much @youngbradford. Thank you for all of the light and laughter and joy and curiosity you bring. Thank you for your bravery as a friend and as a human being. Thank you for always raising the bar for yourself and for the rest of us; thank you for your true kindness and friendship and for always being amazing you. I love you so, so much.
