Dear hockey,

Thank you for the memories, experiences, life lessons and friendships that I’ll carry with me forever. While I’ll miss lacing up the skates every day alongside my best friends, my knees can finally rest after 27 long years 🕊️

Thank you to everyone who played a role in my hockey career: the fans, my coaches/support staff for putting up with me, my family🫶🏻, and especially my teammates who somehow made the chaos worth it and kept pushing the game to places we never thought possible while having an absolute blast doing it.

While next season will look a bit different🩺, this sport will always hold a huge place in my heart because of the people I met who became family along the way🤍
