I’ve stepped into many different “Callings” before. Poet, Writer, Singer, Teaching Artist, Actor…
But none quite hit like the calling of PASTOR.

This weekend I was officially ordained. I was surrounded by loved ones and friends, my faith family from @bridgechurchnyc and my new faith family at @renaissancenyc

I was Commissioned and Charged to shepherd the people of God, Preach the Word of God and to SERVE my community, but more importantly my FAMILY.

I pray to never forget the greatest title of them all CHILD OF GOD.

This journey has been full of growth, challenges, and immense blessings.

365 days.
I told the world outwardly what God has been doing for me inwardly.

This journey did not begin 365 days ago.
But 365 days have passed since I professed that I understood his faithfulness for me.

365 days.
365 days of prayer.
365 days of forgiveness.
365 days of letting go.
365 days of love.
365 days of joy.
365 days of mercy.
365 days of faith.
365 days of grace.

To continuing this beautiful journey and embracing only HIS plans.

January has been such a gift! God continues to pour into me in amazing ways - I’m so grateful for not only the blessings he’s given me but his favor as well. He is entrusting me with more opportunities to serve and make a difference. I don’t take this lightly. I’m thankful for my inner circle of family and friends who lift me up and stand by me. You all are such a blessing! It’s truly amazing to see what God can do. He continues to open doors and show His power and grace in my life. I pray this season brings abundant blessings to you too!
