Electric Forest recap:

🌲 35,000+ steps a day
👯 30 friends somehow surviving together
😴 4 hours of sleep (if we were lucky)
😂 Way too many inside jokes
❤️ A lifetime of memories
🎂 @nurse_jv1 birthday

My legs are still filing complaints, my sleep schedule is nonexistent, and I’m pretty sure I left a piece of my soul in the Forest.

Would I do it all over again? Without a second thought.

See you next year, Electric Forest. 🌲⚡

2026 USAPL Raw Nationals recap 🙈

S: 70 (L hip injury)
B: 160 ~New PR (+2.5kg)
D: 270 | 287.5❌ ~ downward motion 😓

This PL meet was an unusual meet experience for me, especially since it was my first time competing at the USAPL Raw Nationals.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to recover in time for squats right before the competition from a left hip injury. Despite the L hip injury, I learned a great lesson about humility and knowing my limitations. I did not want to risk injuring my left hip even more so I had to make a humbling decision to play it safe. Still, I was really proud of myself for stepping on stage with the top performers in the 82.5 kg class and setting a new bench PR. Although my deadlift didn’t go as well as I had hoped, I was having a great time and know what I need to focus on next PL meet.

I want to thank my wonderful fiancée @caleenguyen for traveling with me on our 10th anniversary. Your support means the world to me. Next year, when I compete at Raw Nats, we don’t have to worry about traveling on our anniversary because Raw Nats is pre-planned at the end of June near my birthday 😗

Tysm @skyler_holt321 for handling me and TY @systematic_strength for coaching me. Many thanks to my friends and family at home watching on the live stream. 🫶

The best part about Raw Nats wasn't the PRs, but sharing the platform with homies @jeehoonlifts @gooden_pl. Amazing performance from these two! Friends off the platform but competitors on the platform. 😤
S/O to @prestonpowerlifts, it was an honor again to be your handler and hope you recover quickly.

So lovely meeting these beautiful girls from Hong Kong and Calee from Colorado 🤍

Even though I missed getting your IGs (Crystal, Cassie, Rachel), I’m so happy we captured this moment together.

Thank you all for pushing through a challenging class and still enjoying it till the end ✨

Hope to see you again when you’re back in Korea. Much love 💛

2026 USAPL CO State Championship recap 🥈

S 262.5 kgs | 578 lbs (New comp PR)
B 152.5 kgs | 336lbs ~3rd attempt, I slid up the bench 🙄
D 285 kgs| 628 lbs ~I'll be coming back for you 300 kgs 😡

I'm genuinely impressed with how this powerlifting meet turned out! My main goal was to qualify for Raw Nationals and sharpen my skills on the platform. I’m surprised I matched my total weight from my previous meet despite dealing with some lingering injuries that wrecked my training, especially during my peaking block. Finishing second was a big surprise to me because I thought I might do much worse. The most helpful thing for me was shifting my focus away from my injuries and enjoying every moment of being back on the platform. You can tell how much fun I was having with @prestonpowerlifts by doing our pre-ritual dance before we get on stage 😂

This meet felt uniquely different from my previous meets because this time I am competing against my good friend @gooden_pl who performed incredibly well and placed 1st. Again, congrats on the dub, you deserved it Tim! It was a new and different experience for both of us that motivated us to push even further. You got me this time but we will have our fun again at Raw Nats! 😤

This whole meet was a lot more fun thanks to the support from my beautiful and strong fiancée @caleenguyen 🫶

Huge S/O to my family @jordancvan1 @brandon__van and @britney.van who cheered me on in person. Also thankful for @astro_lifts15 for handling me. I also appreciate: @brookiej281 @_ninale @jaredandreatta @ana.nguyen._ @alexngyen @xelacastil @steph_qi @penguyeno for pulling up. Thank you to all my friends and family who watched on the stream. And of course, a huge thank you to @french__phenom for coaching me through this long journey. I learned so much from you and am grateful for the wisdom and knowledge you shared.

A lil 2025 recap 🥹
Going into this year, I was honestly a little scared. There were so many changes that happened last year, and it made coming into 2025 feel a bit overwhelming. But the beautiful souls I have in my life made it less scary and so much more memorable. 2025 became the best year ever, and it’s all because of my friends and family 🥹🤎
This year has taught me to be comfortable with silence, to be confident and trust in myself, and that there is no rush in growth. One of the biggest blessing this year is having Buttons by my side to welcome 2026. She is getting old and as you know, she’s my whole world✨🥹

Some key highlights from this year:

• Moving out on my own with Buttons 🏠
• Buttons turned 13 😭
• Family cabin trips and gatherings that brought us closer 🤎
• Creating memories and bonding with friends ✨
• Casually broke my foot 😭

Thank you to my beautiful friends and family for being such an amazing support system in my life. You all made 2025 such a memorable year, and I cherish every one of you so much 🫶🏼. I’m forever grateful—whether for the new relationships I made this year or my long-term ones, you all mean the world to me. Truly the greatest gift a girl could ever ask for 🥹✨ Cheers to 2026 LESS GAURR😤 p.s. I can only tag 20 people 😭
