Behind the scenes on The Long Road Home.

Our first printed catalogue in 10 years, shot at Nicky’s hinterland escape on the Sunshine Coast on the most magical day. Open paddocks, golden light, no phone reception and Alfie stealing every scene he could, completely convinced the shoot was about him. A fitting way to mark our 16th birthday this month.

The Long Road Home 🤍

Six months ago I was overseas in showrooms, choosing every piece in this catalogue with so many of you in mind. I could picture who would wear what, where you'd wear it, and how it would make you feel.

Now it's here. The collections have landed, we've styled it, shot it, and put it into print for the first time in 10 years.

Seeing it come full circle, from a rail in Paris or New York to your wardrobe, is the most fulfilling part of what I do. I'm bloody lucky to call this a job.

This is the best of Calexico and Calexico Man. The staples you've told us you love, from designers all over the world, made to last.

Thank you to Libby Willis, Elise and Luke, and our incredible team. Feels so special to share this in our birthday month. Let the hits keep coming.

August, you were a good one. 🤎

What a month of fashion, people, places and plenty of moments worth remembering. Between exciting new arrivals, days spent on James Street, moments with our incredible team and everything happening across Calexico and Calexico Man, August gave us a lot to love.

This month, we also wanted to shine a light on the city we’re lucky enough to call home. celebrating some of our favourite local businesses, Brisbane spots and the people who make our community what it is. Supporting local has always been important to us, and there’s something pretty special about seeing Brisbane continue to evolve, while still feeling like home.

From new-season fashion and memorable moments in-store to great food, great company and everything happening behind the scenes, these are a few of the highlights that made our August.

Calexico Man on Tour

A short stint in Chicago with Kalem to attend one of the biggest men’s trade fairs the fashion world has to offer. Then an unexpected 36 hour whirlwind in New York ✈️

A LOT of showrooms. Thousands of fabrics. New designers, old favourites, new friends, great food, great art and obviously a little dancing.

We even spotted Anna Wintour within my first few hours in New York - couldn’t have scripted that one. 🤣🤣

We tried, touched, talked, researched, discovered, laughed and looked at EVERYTHING… and chose only the very best for our Calexico ladies & gents.

We love that our job takes us around the world - and we definitely make the most of it.

Can’t wait for you to see what’s coming. ❤️
