POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Three generations of Owens women, a little witchy magic, and Sandra Bullock… my eternal girl crush. Practical Magic 2 was pure girliness, and I loved every minute of it. ✨

Before Whitney Houston made it soar for a new generation in The Bodyguard, “I Will Always Love You” belonged to Dolly Parton.

She wrote it. She recorded it. And today, hearing it in Dolly’s own voice feels like the only fitting farewell.

Rest peacefully, Dolly. We will always love you. 🤍

5 places in Sarasota you need to check out. 🌴

Whether you’re new to town or you’ve lived here for years, these spots are worth adding to your list.

Which one is your favorite? And what hidden gem should I feature next?

Story time.

My 10-year-old daughter tricked me into seeing The Backrooms.

What I did not know was that apparently every young person in the theater already knew exactly what The Backrooms was except me.

I thought it was based on a game. It “sorta” is… and isn’t.

Then I saw Chiwetel Ejiofor show up, noticed it was from A24, and immediately realized I had signed up for some seriously scary shit.

At that point, there was really no backing out.

The rest of the story… you’ll have to watch the reel. 😳

The ocean calls in many ways.
Sometimes through waves.
Sometimes through the quiet glide of a sea creature behind glass.

A visit to Mote Aquarium, remembering why the sea still pulls at our hearts.

It’s almost 9 a.m. on a Sunday.
The waves don’t wait.

Neither should you.

Whatever you’ve been circling… paddle out. 🌊🔥

Museo Atlántico felt less like a dive and more like entering a quiet underwater cathedral. Sculptures resting beneath the surface, slowly claimed by the sea, becoming part of it. Art that doesn’t just sit in a gallery but lives, erodes, grows, and breathes with the ocean.

Some museums ask you to look. This one asks you to descend. 🌊

Underwater statues.
Coral-covered bodies.
An ocean that turns art into habitat.

Welcome to Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park.

I’m collecting places like this.
You never know where Sirens might surface next.

Would you come if I said let’s go?

Salt water remembers us.
Our bodies were first held in saline.
Amniotic fluid, electrolytes, tides moving in rhythm.

When women enter the ocean, the body doesn’t just relax, it recognizes.
Minerals restore balance.
The nervous system exhales.
Something ancient says, you’re home.

Swimming isn’t exercise here.
It’s remembrance. 🌊
