As we head into fall we are looking back at one of our outdoor adventure shoots, and getting very excited about what this season has in store.

Gunnison, Colorado. @cache_seven. An incredible team and one of the most stunning outdoor destinations in the country as our backdrop.

For those who do not know Cache_Seven, is a platform connecting outdoor adventurers with the world’s best guides across hiking, climbing, cycling, sailing, fishing, paddling, skiing, surfing, and more. Trusted gear, expert guidance, and unforgettable trips all in one place. The kind of company that makes you want to drop everything and go outside.

And if there is a better season to do it than fall we have not found it yet. The light, the foliage, the crisp air; there is a reason hikers and outdoor enthusiasts live for this time of year. We cannot wait to get back out there with our cameras.

Fall 2026 is just getting started.

Perks of working with Red Summit:

1. Craft services catered like a five-star event
2. Directing state-of-the-art cinema rigs
3. Unexpectedly getting your “15 minutes of fame” as an impromptu lighting model on a Tuesday afternoon

Not every hero on set gets a screen credit. Meet our stand-ins, a.k.a. our full-time crew and staff.
While principal talent is in hair and makeup, reviewing lines, or saving energy, someone has to hold the mark so our DP and gaffer can lock in lighting setups, camera angles, and focus.

We love calling on our own team to step into the spotlight. One minute you’re producing a call sheet or logging footage, and the next you’re standing under very expensive cinema lights, holding a tape measure to your nose, and soaking up your moment as the star of the pre-light. It keeps our sets nimble, saves precious time, and honestly? It makes for some of the best behind-the-scenes footage we have.

In 16 years as Executive Producer, I’ve learned that a great production isn’t just built on high-end gear. It’s built on a team willing to wear every hat (and hold every mark).

So here’s to our crew: thanks for holding the frame, looking surprisingly photogenic under test lights, and letting us borrow your star power before the real cameras roll!

Your office turned production.

Whether you need a live stream, a fireside chat, an internal company video, or something built specifically for your team, we come to you. And when we walk through your doors we do not just set up a camera and hit record; we transform the space.

Lighting rigs that turn a conference room into a cinematic set. A creative eye that finds the best angles, the best corners, the best version of what your space has to offer. Small crew or large crew depending on what the project calls for. All of it tailored to make your content look and feel exactly the way it should.

Your team deserves production quality that matches the message. That is what we bring every single time we walk in.

If you have something coming up internally, reach out!

Sixteen years of crews, call times, and people who made it all possible.

Every photo in this series tells a story. A location we fought to find. A shoot day that pushed us further than we expected. A freelancer who showed up and delivered at a level that still stands out years later. A staff member who went above and beyond when it mattered most. The early mornings, the long days, the problem solving on the fly, the high fives at wrap. All of it lives in these photos.

The gear changes. Technology evolves. The projects get bigger and the productions get more complex. But the people have always been the constant. That was true on day one in a New York City apartment and it is just as true today on the 30th floor of the Grand Central Building.

To every crew member, every freelancer, every staff member, and every client who has been part of a Red Summit Productions over the last sixteen years, this one is for you. You are not just part of our history. You are the reason we have one.

We would not be here without you!

What a summer at Red Summit Productions.

33 shoots. New York City. Chicago. New Jersey. California. Massachusetts. Canada. Georgia. Coast to coast and across the border, the team never stopped moving and we would not have it any other way.

This summer took us everywhere and into every world you can imagine. A five story townhouse on the Upper East Side. Construction sites in Western Massachusetts. Galas and screenings. Live ceremonies. A Christmas in July celebration with the Ronald McDonald House. Influencers and Broadway stars on the streets of Manhattan. A famous cat. And everything in between.

That range is not an accident. It is exactly what we built Red Summit to do. Sixteen years of showing up to every kind of production with the same level of preparation, professionalism, and passion, and this summer was one of our best yet.

Thank you to our incredible team, our talented freelancers, and every client who trusted us with their story this summer. Fall is here and we are just getting started.

Rise Above.

POV: You are on set with @allegroneco in MA

Earlier this month we headed up to 60 Wells Street in Greenfield, Massachusetts, one of the newest construction sites for Allegrone. Video, photography, and drone all rolling to capture the scale and craftsmanship of what they are building on the ground.

There is something about being on a construction site that hits close to home for us. Both start with an idea. Both start from scratch. Whether it is steel and concrete or cameras and crew, Allegrone and Red Summit share the same DNA: expertise, precision, and an unwavering commitment to delivering the best possible result for our clients from the ground up. We build productions the same way they build structures. With intention, with care, and with a team that takes pride in every single detail.

A big shoutout to @noahsandvik, our drone operator on this one, for capturing the kind of aerial perspective that puts the full scale of a project like this into context.

Thank you Allegrone Companies for the partnership!

PS. Who does not love a trunk office for offloading. Some things never change.

Earlier this week, I wrote a post about the competitive FOMO I get when I see a production happening in NYC while I’m passing through for a client coffee or heading to one of our own locations. This past Sunday and Monday, we might have been the ones giving other production companies that same feeling.

I’m incredibly proud that we hired talented creatives from every corner of the production world to make this happen. I’m equally proud knowing that today the client is happy, the SSP is cooking up proxies, and Adobe is mastering the edits.

So here’s our recap—and a sincere thank you to everyone who helped bring it to life.

5 floors. 50+ crew members. 1 historic Upper East Side townhouse (with a very old elevator).

To close out June, we took over a massive five-story Manhattan townhouse for an incredible production. And if you’ve ever shot in NYC, you know exactly what that means.

Sunday: Load-in day. Furniture moved, custom sets built across three floors, and gear hauled up more flights of stairs than we’d like to count.

Monday: A full-throttle 12-hour shoot day. Permitted trucks, A+ talent on set, and a 50+ person crew moving in perfect sync.

We had Video Village on floor three, client-favorite NYC bagels and coffee on floor four, and cameras rolling throughout the rest of the house. Every department was locked in.

By the end of the night, we wrapped, packed up, and put the home back exactly the way we found it. Like we were never there.

We treat every rented location like it’s our own.

Here’s the real takeaway: One of the best agencies in the business trusted us with this massive production because they knew we don’t just create beautiful visuals - we manage the complex logistics, moving parts, and tight timelines that come with high-stakes productions so they don’t have to.

If you have a complex creative vision and need a production partner who can execute the logistics just as seamlessly as the creative, we’d love to help.

Send us a DM or shoot me an email. Let’s bring your next big project to life.

Just over a year ago we had the pleasure of joining @cache_seven and @elexplore for a few days of gravel riding in Gunnison County.

For those who don’t know Eric, he’s skied to both poles, summited Mount Everest, completed the Explorers Grand Slam, and survived conditions most people can’t even imagine. Having him lead a gravel trip means you’re going to be prepared. Detailed gear list ahead of time, home-cooked meals by the fire, a sauna to close out the day. He doesn’t do anything halfway.

@brentadamsco rode alongside some speedy journalists, clipped in for the first time, and didn’t flinch. That tracks, he is fearless and is always doing the coolest adventures.

@caliscreative and @beaularsonmedia documented dozens of miles of trails and the gear that makes it all possible. Thanks to @otsocycles for the incredible rides, and to @cache_seven for bringing us along.
