September is Suicide Prevention Month, a month where we spread awareness and remember those we have lost to suicide, how to be kind humans, and give us a reason to put a smile on others faces. I want to thank my amazing team for showing how much they care for this cause by wearing purple for today’s practice. It means the world to me and my family. My heart goes out to everyone else who understands the importance of this month by losing a loved one from this traumatic event. Keep smiling and being kind. Give hope and reasons for others to choose to wake up another day. #LongLiveAshleyMarie💜

FIRST NATS! I am so grateful that I was able to get to lift at collegiate nats this year, and it was so insane. it didn't go the way i exactly wanted it to, and almost bombing out on bench scared the absolute crap out of me. i was just glad i was able to pull through, and i was able to pull through for my team. pulling my last deadlift and securing my spot for 5th place as a freshman was even crazier to me. my main goal was to podium, and i was able to do that. prep going into this was insane too, but i really wouldn't have gotten through it without my coaches or my teammates. thank you to everyone for making my first nationals so memorable, it was worth the wins and my voice being gone 💔 until next year!
