There are only 20 days until Uptown Dance presents 101 Dancing Dalmatians. I am thrilled to get to play Cruella De Vil this show! With that being said, if you have ever mentioned to me "I would love to go to one of your shows"... But life has happened and you didn't get around to it...now is your final chance! With highschool coming to an end, my performing days are as well. I can't wait for my favorite and final show to take the stage. And I hope to see some of you there! 🤍🖤

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.”

Last winter show in the books! There's no way I could've done it without the numerous people supporting me! Thank you to everyone you know exactly who you are! 🤍

"How lucky am I, that I have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

I can't say this is how I imagined my dancing days coming to an end. I really thought the hardest part of the week was going to be the curtain closing. My knee injury/being unable to bend my knee kinda nixed all my favorite parts of my choreo, leaps, and turns. As heartbroken as that made me, it also made me realize how lucky I am to get to dance. Was it what I wanted, not at all, but dance is so much more than the tricks you can do.

I will be forever thankful for Uptown Dance! A huge thank you to all my amazing teachers! I love you guys so much!!! And a thank you to all my friends, backstage moms, people who have supported me, and my mom!!! The last 4 years of dancing has been beyond magical. Uptown Dance is my world! The amount I have learned through the hardships and challenges is irreplaceable. Cruella De Vil is right those happy accidents really can change the whole direction of your life. I know this is only goodbye to the stage and not my chosen family. Many pictures later... luckily some pre-injury when I could still leap...and more to come I'm sure... that's a close on 101 Dalmatians and Cruella De Vil! 👠🩰🤍❤️🖤

"And what would happen to me, may I ask, if I loved all the children I said goodbye to?"
Thank you to everyone for making this such a magical dream for me!! Thank you to all my teachers!! Thank you to Isaac for being the most amazing Bert and partner to dance with! Thank you to my "kids" even though I don't have any pictures with Aiden. I loved matching with Averie everyday it definitely wasn't planned. ;) Thank you to the people who helped me quick change, that wasn't easy. Thank you to God for helping me get through every show! But most importantly thank you to my mom! She worked out of a labor of love! Keeping me in one piece and able to perform! She even brushed up on some seamstress skills to make my costume everything I dreamed of!
"In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun!" 🤍 I loved this show! On to the next!
