I’ve lost track of how many classes RA has taken at @calledcreativestudio , but the impact this place—and this community—has had on her is beyond anything I could ever calculate. The classes go far beyond learning the names of techniques or how to define artistic terms. RA is learning to love creating. She is learning to explore, experiment, and try new things. She tries something in class and then comes home inspired to keep creating in her own way. Most importantly, she gets to do it alongside people who genuinely love, care for, and encourage her—and that is something every momma wants for her kiddo: a safe place where she can be herself, stretch her imagination, and create fun things! There is something so special about people who choose to share their joys, passions, and gifts with others. That is how strong communities are built, and it is one of the greatest gifts small businesses like Called Creative Studio give to the families around them. We are incredibly thankful for Called Creative Studio and the space they have created for RA and so many other young artists. Their fall art classes are now open, and while there are still a few spots available, time is running out! If you have a child who loves creating—or might simply need a safe and encouraging place to discover that joy—go check them out. 🎨❤️

The Art of Wining & Dining with @calledcreativestudio ✨ There are certain events you walk away from feeling full to the brim. I felt it in January, when @milespurvisart shared her work and story at the same event. And last night was no different. There is something really special about this experience and the community that surrounds it. Thank you so much for letting me share my work with all of you! Thank you to @somethingsmallcatering for curating a menu inspired by my work (how cool?!), and to @the.boland.house.somm for selecting all of the gorgeous wines to go along with each course. See you at the next one!

👩🏼‍🏫 Teacher Appreciation is right around the corner and I made something extra special to help you gift with intention 💜✏️ These handmade pencil pouches are heading to @calledcreativestudio THIS Friday! Just in time for shopping this weekend! Each one is sewn with love and designed to be the perfect little bundle starter—just add a sweet notepad, a custom pen made by your child especially for their teacher, a card to fill with all the words of appreciation, and a few extra thoughtful goodies for your favorite teacher. I wanted these to feel personal, useful, and a little bit joyful… because the teachers in our lives deserve all of that and more ✨ If you’re local, stop by the studio and build your own meaningful teacher gift this weekend—this is a limited quantity drop so I have a feeling these won’t last long 🥳 #teacherappreciation#handmadewithlove #shopsmall #teachergift #calledcreativestudio
