I had the best day at the Varsity Dance College Combine! I saw so many familiar faces and learned more about dance teams from all over! The combos were so much fun to learn in such a supporting environment!

Dance is about JOY! Not happiness, not beauty, not perfection…but Joy! It is about finding yourself within movement that peels away the hard layers of life and self! What is left underneath is the dancers soul crying to get out in mundane moments. Through dance we get to release that spirit and in that there is unbound Joy! Even if the dance is sad, mournful, angry, or chaotic, it all comes from that place of Joy within the dancer. These humans bring Joy into every corner of Wonderland every day they are here. We are so lucky to have such brilliant artists in our classes and in our Ballet performances. Heres to “Two Weeks Till Show”!!!!!!!! Get your tickets for Midsummer now!!!! Performing at Rockford University Maddox Theater July 24th-26th.

for 14 years these people have been my dance home! I couldn’t be more thankful for every memory we made & the ways we grew and learned from each other. in so many ways I am the dancer and person i am today because of them. I will forever cherish every opportunity, challenge and moment together. truly the end of an era 🥹

the last time stepping off the stage felt unreal. i can’t believe that my 16 year journey through blood, sweat, and glitter has come to an end. i have so many things i want to say and not enough words to say them lol, just know that i am so grateful to always be a dancer, even though my competitive journey is over.
