Fall in Upstate South Carolina is SO UNDERRATED 🍂

Colors in the Upstate start to change around the end of October and can last all the way through mid November ☺️

Spooky season is officially here 👻

@madworld_haunted_attraction is back through November 1st, and whether you’re someone who LOVES being scared or you’re a soft girl like me, there’s something for you.

The haunted houses are SO well done. The set designs and different themes are incredibly detailed, and the actors are so convincing that I was genuinely terrified walking through them. 😂 (I may be smiling in these clips, but I promise you I was freaking out on the inside.)

If you’d rather not be targeted by the actors, you can grab a “No Scare Medallion” so the monsters know to leave you alone.

Beyond the haunted houses, there’s axe throwing, Ghost Town mini golf, carnival games, a zombie shoot VR experience, festival food and fun bubbly drinks that really get you into the spooky spirit.

Did you know that you can design your own handbags that are handmade by a local artist? Libby Mitchell of @addlibbdesigns has been making these beautiful handbags for almost 20 years, and now she is leaving the creative process up to you.

Each bag is one-of-a-kind - you choose everything from what style bag you like, the fabric, decorations - everything down to the handle. Libby will then hand make them and in about a week they’re ready for pick up (or shipping if you’re traveling from out of town!)

This is a great experience for a group of girlies, whether it’s for a bachelorette, birthday, Mother’s Day or literally just because - you’ll each end up with a piece that’s uniquely yours.

The charcuterie board is an add on, and we were able to bring our own wine.
