all i can say is THANK YOU JESUS!!! never before have i been on a team that carries this kind of peace and joy, fully trusting the plan the Lord has for us. @dbu_cheer has been such a gift and has completely changed the way i see cheer and life. it’s reminded me that what we get to do is a blessing, and it’s all for His glory. forever grateful to be part of a team that keeps Christ at the center and never loses sight of Him. getting to watch my best friends get baptized was one of the most meaningful parts of it all. so many wins this weekend and history made in the best way. it really isn’t just cheerleading… it’s something so much bigger. HFCAA4H 🤟🏼🤍✨

If you know me, you know how important cheerleading has been my entire life. Getting baptized in the ocean in Daytona Beach right after our national cheer competition was just the perfect timing. Having my coach, Callie baptize me made it so special. She’s the best mentor I’ve ever had and someone who truly radiates Jesus’s love in everything she does. No words will ever be enough to explain how I felt in that moment.

Growing up, I struggled a lot with anxiety and depression, and there were times I didn’t even want a tomorrow. Now I have a peace I can’t really explain, and I’m genuinely excited for the plan God has in store for me.

The last couple years, cheer has been the center of my life, but now I can see how God was working through it the whole time to lead me closer to Him. I’m so blessed to say my life is now centered around Christ. DBU cheer is so much more than just a college program it’s a ministry, and I’m beyond thankful for the impact it’s had on my life. Proud to say I’ve been made new and so grateful for this new beginning 🤍✝️

Just wow. 4 national titles! JESUS!! A team like no other! Best friend getting baptized!! All the 4th years being on the bandshell! The perseverance! GAMEDAY!! The bandshell full ups! The LOVE for this team! From red to white in His love we are made new!!🫶🏼

TYJ!! So much to be thankful for. The best 4 years with the best program. Being with all of my best friends experiencing their first or second time on the bandshell and winning their first and second national titles was the highlight and biggest joy of my weekend🥰 Each and every one of them made this year beyond worth it!! 💍 the 🔔!!

If you had told me a year ago that I would be getting baptized, I wouldn’t have believed you. But God. He has moved in my life in ways I can’t even begin to explain, and I am so incredibly grateful for the path He has placed before me. Looking back, I can see His hand in every step, even when I didn’t realize it at the time.
I am beyond thankful for this group of girls who reflect God’s love and grace so clearly every single day. Being surrounded by people who push me closer to Him has changed my life in the best way.
I feel so blessed to be a part of @dbu_cheer and to be led by such amazing coaches and role models. There are no words that could ever fully express how much your impact means to me. I love you all dearly. 🤟🏾

JESUS WON!!! 🤍

Last night, I finally got to publicly declare my love for Jesus and had the opportunity to be baptized alongside my sisters in Christ. Jesus has transformed my life for the better!!!! He is my best friend and He has showed me what happens when you’re faithful to Him. Months of feeling alone and out of place, crying out to the Lord to help me find myself again. All along He was working. Every step of life is positioning you for the path Jesus has for you. Every heartbreak, every celebration, every relationship, EVERY DAY, He is preparing you for all He has in store for you. DBU is a clear example of God’s faithfulness. Each and every day I can feel the love of Jesus wrapped around me within these girls and this community and it brings me to tears when I think and pray about each of these girls.

Jesus wants to know you personally. No matter what your past is, no matter what you’ve done, no matter the guilt and shame you carry with you, He has wiped you clean when He died on the cross for you. He just wants your heart, He wants to love you and spend forever with you. Just start by talking to Him, however that may look like. The word says, “In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.” (‭‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‬‬) YOU WERE CHOSEN!! YOU HAVE HOPE IN CHRIST!! And you have a PURPOSE!! That depression you’re feeling, nothing else can rid of it but Him. That struggle you’re going through to wake up and find motivation, He is waiting for you to run to Him. The things you did in the past you’re sure God won’t forgive, He already forgave and wiped your slate clean. He can use ANYONE!!!! I love you and most of all HE LOVES YOU!! 💌✨

Thank you @calliemtaylor_ for being more than a coach to me and for baptizing me. You’ve taken a chance on me and believed in me more than anyone has. You have changed so many lives including mine and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my college years being coached by you!!!! Love you so so much 🥹
