Italy 26’ 🇮🇹

This trip was full of surprises, the Lord moved as always and I have so many takeaways to share.

The biggest lesson I learned: Leadership is not about reaching the top and looking down, it is about learning how to be so low that your team will have no choice but to be brought up.

I loved serving my team. The Lord blessed me with some incredible people that I had the privilege of overseeing. Countless times I watched as my team stepped up and became something so spectacular. It was a true blessing to see just how everyone was used by God and how lives were changed. I’ll never forget our late night talks and moments at the altar. Interceding and growing together has marked me forever.

Truly, Napoli was affected by the Gospel. The encounters on the streets and the softening of hearts was everywhere. But that wasn’t the only place God was moving on this trip. The late night Bible studies, individual conversations with teammates and times of worship at the base were moments I will never forget. Wow, how beautiful are the feet that carry the Gospel. Man, I get emotional thinking about how thankful I am to have had the honor of serving this team. The Lord is not done yet, the great commission is not complete but nothing will ever be the same as Italy 26’

Wade and Callie are engaged and I loved capturing their proposal and sweet session afterwards. My dad and Wade’s dad went to college together and to this day we refer to our family friend group as the ‘college gang.’ Callie and I met through business/friend connections so to be there was a joy for me!

just finished the best year ever leading the best team ever with the best person ever.

I love Jesus. I love this team. I love my kids. I love my best friends.

This team became family to me. This is a season of my life that I pray I will never take for granted. getting to do ministry with my best friends has been such an honor and something that has filled my heart so much. My favorite moments have been shared with these people.

The moments that meant the most to me weren’t on the platform but the ones right before and after. All the in between moments and the things leading up to chapels. The laughing, the crying, the early morning prayers, and the late night conversations. All the 67 house team hangs, the portico meetings, the choir rehearsals with Josh and Mo, spending hours brainstorming and making things new, planning in charties with Natalia & all the calls to build tracks, and meeting up with our student leaders sharing our hearts.

It was those moments where I learned what it really meant to lead. It’s where I learned how to really see people and it’s where I learned God’s heart for His children. I experienced so much of His love and His joy here. I learned how powerful unity is. How sacred the altar is and the blessing it is to be in community. This year will be something that holds a special place in my heart.
