Congratulations to our outgoing seniors who received their Seal of Biliteracy for English and Spanish! The Seal of Biliteracy is an acknowledgment of being proficient in more than one language. To achieve this, students have to pass 4 seperate tests of their reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

At the start of rehearsals for Beauty and the Beast, we decided to start a new senior tradition that we hope will stick with the high school troupe for many years to come. The tradition was senior handprints. During the building and painting of the set pieces, each senior member got to hide a handprint in a place of their choosing. These are fabulous easter eggs for the audience to look for! A photo of the locations of the handprints will be posted along with the name of the member who put it there. These handprints also help to commemorate our senior class. Our seniors hold a special place in all of our hearts. Whether you be their parent, family member, friend, coworker, teacher, peer, or more, you know too that they are crucial to the program. The seniors keep traditions alive, boost spirits, shut down negativity, trust us, encourage us, and most importantly, believe in us. The wise words and encouragement from the seniors is irreplaceable. In their honor, they were able to leave their final mark on the show. While they may be covered with new paint layers for new shows in the future, we can rest assured that they have all left their mark on the program permanently. To the senior cast members, thank you from the bottom of all of our hearts. You all have made a lasting impact on this program. We are all sad to see you go, but we can not wait to see where you will go from here. We hope that the lessons, skills, patience, and bonds you have taken from this program will continue with you throughout your whole life. Sincerely, all of Troupe 228 ❤️ Handprints in order: Lawson Morris Payton Snyder Anderson Keough Elliot Nelson Abby Lindgren Brenna Lindgren Ally Nolan Myles Strait Audree Cheney Andrew Otto Marshall Smith Dylan Patzel Taylor Drost Olivia Muir Brianna Hunt Callie Lindgren
