RG @dancing_through_strength: Are you dancing by default?
Most of us start dancing at 4 years old (except me a late starter at 10!) and that first year would have be very exciting and new! As each year progresses we learn our unique styles and what type of dancing suits us most. Generally we do jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary and what ever else we can fit into our busy schedule!
More time progresses and classes get harder and before we know it we have exams, eisteddfods, completions, endless rehearsals and end of year performances!
I urge you to ask yourself the question...Am I dancing my default?

What does that mean?? It means are you turning up to dancing exactly the same way everyday without much conscious thought?
Have you gone over corrections from the day before? Have you memorised your exam work or new solo? Are you aware of areas you may need to work on? Do you turn up to class and chat in the splits and not warm up preparing yourself for a successful class?

As I mentioned above before you know it the year is up and we progress to the next level. Where does the time go? Are you making use of your time or are you dancing by default?

If you want to be the best dancer you can be I encourage you to think about this further. Do you ever feel like you get told the same correction over and over? Maybe you are and you're not applying this correction in your own time and just turning up to class the next day by default doing the same thing again and again. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting to see results"

Let's become conscious dancers eager to apply what they're learning and being told. Teachers are there to help and guide you. Listen, apply, demonstrate and succeed!

This my trouble-full friend that looks for my trouble upandan and brings up topics that makes me argue with him 70% of the time we meet just came and scattered @krump_studios with #Qdancesessions for a week.

You are lucky @qudusonikeku that you are of immense value to this world I would have thrown your silly *ss and made it look like an accident.
It was a blast having you inspire at #krumpStudios...More #Qdancesessions to come.

Thank you for collaborating with me in bringing my vision to life one step at a time. "Producing dancers with world class equivalence"
