There are trips that you shouldnโ€™t let fear stop you from taking and itโ€™s important you take your time to reflect and weigh your options.

This was one that I almost didnโ€™t take and I am glad I pushed myself because it was meant to be. Not knowing I was indirectly saying good bye to a loved one. I would have regretted it if I didnโ€™t have the chance to say goodbye.

It healed every part of me that I thought was broken and honestly I love my family and friends so so much.

Thank you for making my time back home a memorable one letโ€™s do this again soon.

P.S: Iโ€™ve had this video for months now and itโ€™s like my favorite video to look at whenever I miss home.

If there is one thing we know about children, it is that they can dream. Over the weekend, Slum to Stage Africa @slumtostage gathered over 60 students from government schools across Abuja for the preliminary round of the โ€œIntroTechโ€ Competition, where their dreams became a glowing reality.

Over a month ago, these children put in the work to explore innovative ideas to produce technology solutions to real world problems. Problems that felt close to home for them.

The IntroTech Competition was born from a simple belief that Slum to Stage Africa is not raising dancers alone, but we are raising future leaders, innovators, creators, teachers and problem-solvers.

If you know us, you know that we are creating a future where every child has access to creative, artistic and now DIGITAL learning experiences that nurture both academic excellence and holistic human development.

With the combined partnership of @slum_tech @franceinnigeria @shushiofficial @ifnigeria @asviolng @destinedstars_initiative @elaminschoolabj , Universal Basic Education Board and Strategic Minds Humanitarian Foundation, this vision for our digital and IT program was possible.

The journey to the Grand Finale Begins๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŽ‰. In September, we will all gather at the @ifnigeria as these students will present their tech solutions to problems bothering on GBV, education, climate change, peace and security.
