#2016 🥹

A year that solidified what sisterhood and friendship meant. I was sure of my faith and I wasn’t afraid of trying. It was the year I hung up my pageant shoes and stepped fully into my career era. It was when I started traveling — from my first cruise to my first solo travel to DC. I KEPT my little Hyundai on the road! I showed up for my friends and family no matter how much it may have seemed I was doing the most.

I’m glad She did what needed to be done then so I could be where I am today. 💜

Listen, these churen doing prom and 21st birthdays waaaaaaaaayyyyy different than what I did! However, I can’t speak for all the children, but as far as MY niece, my hardworking, independent, own house, own car, great job and own money, she has it ALL to put up for her play time!

I could not be more proud and happy to celebrate the amazing woman she is and continuing to evolve into! It’s very much 🗣️BIG MAIAH and NOT the little one! When I say she’s different, you see the proof in the blessed life she lives! Like I told my sweet man, when you have a good heart and do right by people, it shows in your surroundings!

So to my audacious, brilliant and beautiful niece, @callmemaiahh, cheers to 21 blissful years and beyond! You deserve! 🥂
