How could we ask for more?👟🕺💃

(Okay I’m not a big fan of posting big paragraphs, but I think this show really deserves it.)

This was my first time ever leading a show! And boy oh boy was it a challenge. Stepping into the role of Ren was a challenge for me, not only is he a (⚠️TW⚠️) tenor, he’s also a dancer, and the lead of the show. And I consider myself a singer first, so I was really scared stepping out of my comfort zone.

But what came out of it was something magical. A show that’s not only about dancing, but also about healing, community, forgiveness, and finding your true self. And after I survived opening night, I felt like a new person. Stepping into the unknown helped bring something out of me. I felt free (lmao like the song). And this experience has not only helped me grow as a performer, but as a person. I don’t say this about myself very often, but I’m genuinely proud of myself!!

To the cast, it was a pleasure to share the stage with y’all!! Getting to go on this journey with each and everyone one of you guys was a blast. And I can’t wait to see what you guys do in the future.❤️

To Amber, Ronda, Catera, and Tierra, thank you for this opportunity and for trusting me with Ren. You guys have helped me grow so much throughout this process and I’m inspired by everything you guys do!❤️

And finally, thank you to everyone who came out to watch this show!!

Okay I’ve typed a lot but I just wanted to share my love for this show and how much it meant to me!!

Goodbye for now Footloose👟🕺💃 (because I’m doing this show again in like 2 weeks lmao)!!
