You’ve seen the mask. You’ve seen the character. You’ve seen the darkness, the theatrics, and the occasional insanity. But you’ve never really heard the story. Monster wasn’t created for attention, followers, or sponsorships. He came from a much darker place. What started as a way to deal with some of the hardest battles of my life became something I never could’ve anticipated. This is the story of how Monster came to be, the people who helped shape the journey, and what wearing that mask and this sport in general have meant to the man underneath it. And for those of you who’ve been waiting for the mask to come off… Well, I guess you’ll just have to keep swiping. Welcome to the story behind the Monster. ⚠️ FAKE WEAPONS ⚠️ #airsoft #origin #monster #mentalhealth #youarenotalone 2014 I was getting married, and life was changing. I knew I wouldn’t have the time to dedicate to airsoft anymore, so I made the decision to step away. I sold off my gear, packed away that chapter of my life, and moved forward. But there was one thing I couldn’t bring myself to part with. My HK45 USP. At the time, I had no idea if I’d ever return to the field. And I certainly had no idea what that pistol would eventually help me return to. 2025. During my years away from airsoft, I was dealing with some battles that had nothing to do with the playing field. Anxiety. PTSD. The weight of things from my past that I’d been working through in therapy. For weeks, I thought I was heading toward a heart attack. Eventually, I ended up in an emergency room, convinced that was exactly what was happening. It wasn’t a heart attack. It was a massive anxiety attack. My wife and my doctor both told me the same thing: I needed an outlet. Something that would help me release the pressure I’d been carrying. For years, I’d felt the Monster inside me rattling the bars of his cage. I needed somewhere to let him run. And deep down, I already knew where that place was. After more than a decade away, I made a decision. It was time to get back into airsoft. I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for. I just knew I needed something that was mine. Something that would let me step away
