We went to see #fielalavega at #haciendalealtad. Pancha was singing back up. Tito Auger is from Pancha’s neighborhood in Vega Alta. She has been going to their shows since she was a child with her mom. He always says hey after the show really nice guy. Such an amazing band, crowd and venue. 2nd show for me. 1000 tickets sold. Also cant wait to eat at Hacienda Leatad and their B&B looks amazing. The girl with long dreads talking to Pancha is #CalmaCarmona. Super kind and her music is great also.
Bit of a long video, but just in case you were curious what #puertorican #rock shows were like. #latinmusic

took a solo trip to Puerto Rico last week for a few days to clear my head, soak in some sunshine, good eats, and the culture as a reward to myself for all my hard work. lately I’ve been so focused on being a great dad and musician, that I often forget to take better care of myself and my mental health. highly recommend, everyone take themselves on a vacation even if its for the weekend, we all deserve a lil normalcy after being trapped in our houses during the entire pandemic

THANK You XuTFaM 🖤🖤🖤 The haunting melody of "Hollywood" echoes the relentless battle between my soul and the devil, a sinister struggle for my rightful place in the spotlight. Each note is a reminder of the excruciating mental and physical torment I have endured, a dark symphony of suffering that threatens to consume me. Yet, through the shadows and the pain, I stand firm, a defiant beacon of resilience and determination, refusing to surrender to the darkness that seeks to claim me. The song is a chilling testament to my unwavering spirit, a haunting reminder that even in the depths of despair, I will never yield. yurecordz

Join us on Opening Night, Wednesday March 20th at 7:00PM as Houston Latino Film Festival hosts a wonderful tribute to Calma Carmona, who will perform right after the reception. The poetry and music of @calmacarmona are explored through the exhibition, FIEBRE. The exhibition represents cultural and artistic diversity, connecting with the Latine essence and evoking a profound sense of belonging. This exhibition is FREE and open to the public during festival dates and hours, March 20-24, 2024.

A unique experience took place in August 2023 in the central region of Cuba, in Santa Clara. In an unparalleled event, the Valhalla Viking Bar hosted a significant showcase of artists from Villa Clara in honor of the renowned Puerto Rican singer and artist, Calma Carmona. This tribute marked a special moment of spiritual connection through art in a realm of creativity. Now, you can experience it at #HLFF2024

More than two years ago, Aime Rosales, curator of FIEBRE, successfully integrated visual arts exhibitions into this prominent Latino festival. The exhibition “Fiebre” stands as an artistic encounter that transcends the boundaries of music, fashion, visual arts, and cultural industries, showing how culture permeates our daily lives and nourishes us with meaning and connection.
