Congrats to our October Brother of the Month, Charlie Jakymiw #572!

A third-year Mechanical Engineering major from Deerfield, Illinois, he joined our chapter as part of the Beta Pi pledge class and has made a lasting impact on our brotherhood through his leadership and dedication.

Throughout his time in Phi Sig, he has served in several leadership positions, including Secretary, Vegas Chair, and Vice President. Through these roles, he has helped strengthen our chapter, organize memorable events, and contribute to the continued growth of our brotherhood.

When reflecting on his favorite memories, he highlighted Rush and Vegas Formal as some of the best moments of his time in Phi Sig. From welcoming new members to creating lasting memories with his brothers, he has helped make these experiences special for the chapter.

After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in space robotics, combining his engineering background with his interest in advancing technology.

Congrats, Charles! The chapter thanks you for all your hard work and dedication. Damn Proud!

At the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year, we had the pleasure of hosting our 5th Annual Balanced Man Scholarship Banquet!

This year’s application cycle was our largest yet, with so many exceptional applicants. We were honored to award three outstanding young men $1,000 each in recognition of their achievements, character, and potential.

Every finalist demonstrated excellence in academics, service, and extracurricular involvement. These three recipients went above and beyond, embodying the well-rounded values of a true Balanced Man.

Congratulations again to our scholarship winners—we can’t wait for next year!
