Family!

Let’s be honest: men and women do not have to think alike, communicate alike, or experience life alike to honor one another and build well together.

But we do have to be willing to listen.

I’m honored to serve as a featured panelist for “Gender Harmony Conversations”—a guided community dialogue created to strengthen understanding, respect, and healthy relationships between men and women.

This is not another “men versus women” debate. We have had enough conversations that generate heat but produce no healing.

Gender Harmony is about creating space for honest dialogue that helps us:

• Appreciate the differences and contributions of both men and women
• Strengthen marriages, families, and community relationships
• Challenge harmful behaviors and communication patterns
• Promote healthier, safer, and more collaborative communities

Hear me clearly: harmony does not mean pretending that tension, hurt, misunderstanding, or disagreement does not exist. Harmony means learning how to bring our different voices into alignment without silencing either one.

When men and women learn to communicate with greater respect, affirm one another’s value, and work together with shared responsibility, the impact reaches far beyond romantic relationships. It strengthens our homes, churches, businesses, institutions, and neighborhoods.

I’m looking forward to bringing my perspective as a woman, Kingdom leader, strategist, entrepreneur, nurturer, and community builder to this important conversation.

Join me and an outstanding group of leaders on:

Saturday, September 20, 2026
1:00 PM

Redan United Methodist Church
1849 Stone Mountain–Lithonia Road Lithonia, Georgia

I’m inviting my family, friends, faith leaders, entrepreneurs, community partners, nieces, and nephews to attend, support, and help us spread the word.

We cannot keep asking for stronger families and healthier communities while avoiding the conversations required to build them.

Scan the QR code on the flyer to register, and please share this post with the men and women in your life. Come prepared to listen, contribute, and help move us from gender conflict toward Gender Harmony.”

Every rep matters.
Champions aren’t made on game day… they’re built through discipline, effort, and consistency when nobody is watching.

At Huddle 27, we aim to teach young athletes to compete with purpose, lead with confidence, and give their best on every play. The lessons learned between the lines extend far beyond the football field.

Keep working.Keep learning.Keep growing.

Because the scoreboard may measure the game, but character measures the man.

Huddle 27
Lead. Score. Win.

Repost @andre dre truitt As a man, I’m going to step forward. Fb friends take a moment to view this video. We all know someone, or maybe you have been abused. You may know someone who lost their life to abusive violence. I’m hoping you’ll watch this video. As a business owner, I’m hoping other businesses will stand with me. Let’s put an end to gender base violence on women, children, and men!

More from Take A Stand for Women & Girls, Nov 23.

Clip and excerpt from @11alive news

"This initiative today, we start with someone who has suffered but whose story is triumphant," said Founder of TRC, Khalil Osiris, @realkhalilosiris who was referring to Torrey.

"That’s the message that we’re bringing to this: we, particularly as men, say that this violence will not stop until we as men hold ourselves accountable."

While the event took place Wednesday, the organization holds several events to help reduce gender-based violence.

Osiris said the group of men pledging to stop the violence is a step in the right direction as they're using their voice for those who had been silenced in the worst way.

"And now those same men who have been invisible in terms of advocacy now have absolute visibility in terms of action," Osiris said.

"Every man and boy who pledges to end domestic and gender based violence makes the world safer for women and girls." - Khalil Osiris, TRC founder.

Thank you to all the citizens of Atlanta who joined us for the launch of TRC’s Take a Stand for Women & Girls campaign. The rights and safety of women & girls in democracies and autocracies are under siege and when called to take a stand, you showed up.

Thank you to all our speakers and panellists for sharing their stories and inspiring so many to take the pledge to end GBV. Thank you for breaking the silence, committing to a gender safe work place and promoting gender equality. We’re continuing to magnify the profound effect we all can have when citizens commit to taking a stand for women & girls, for this and future generations.

#Repost from @stonecrestchamber Facebook page.

"Our speakers today were phenomenal. They dropped nugget after nugget. Some were:
Purpose over profit
Be intentional about how you start the day.
You keep your house and car clean. It is equally important to keep your body clean.
Your health is your true wealth.
If you attended todays meeting, list the nugget that spoke to you."

My commentary👇:

Today's session was very encouraging and informative. Outside of the nuggets already listed, the nugget that spoke to me was:

"Be authentically you." Therapist Ayana Johnson. That resonated with me because when we build relationships with other business owners, our community, and potential clients, it's important that we show up as real and relatable.

Never forget your 'why' and mission within yourself and business.
