Yeah so Cameron went to Prom last weekend I was super cool about it. And I calmly told her she was the most beautiful girl in the entire world and that my exploding Mama heart was probably just fine.

A day I will remember forever. I am so happy that we got to share the day seeing so many beautiful places here in Oahu. Our tour guide was amazing!

She’s finally official! I very much look forward to delegating all my HEB trips and soccer pickups to her.

Yesterday at 8:00 am: Hey Mom? I need a costume because my friends are going to all be superheroes or villains. Of course she makes a gorgeous Poison Ivy!
Today at 8:00 am: We have to finish my Homecoming mum in the next 45 minutes because we still need to add the lanyard at the top… We pulled it off.
Shoutout to the last minute mamas!

My best girl is sixteen years old! I am equally amazed at how brilliant and kind and determined she is, but also ready to kick anyone’s booty that would want to make her sad or hurt or disappointed with the world. I wish she could just experience nothing but happiness forever, but I know that’s not how growing up works.
This is the stretch of years where we give her more & more freedom to figure out what she wants and who she is. Should be a piece of cake, right? 😭
Happy birthday, Cameron. You are already wonderful just the way you are, but I can’t wait to see all the things you keep becoming. 💖

It was one of the craziest games I have ever seen, but the Pieper Warriors came out on top against SV. Super proud of how much the defense held strong! It was a fun night under the lights!
