Introducing Camille Williams, Saga’s wonderful Assistant General Manager.

Camille’s career has spanned the full spectrum of hospitality, from fast-casual restaurants to some of New York’s most celebrated dining destinations. A passionate advocate for continuous learning, Camille has expanded her expertise through The Roots Fund and Wine Empowered programs and is a proud member of the James Beard Foundation’s Legacy Network.

When Camille started @wineempowered she was working in a casino in Connecticut - and commuted hours weekly for the program.

A little over a year later, she is running some of the most respected restaurants in New York (and therefore, the world!). We talked on a Monday afternoon at @saga_nyc - Kent Hospitality Group’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant on the 63rd floor of a 1932 skyscraper in downtown Manhattan.

Meet Camille (@cam_013) and Cynthia (@cynsjoint): alums of the JBF Legacy Network, a 12-week program presented by @heinz that empowers emerging culinary leaders and connects them with future generations of excellence.

Thanks to the support of Heinz, they were selected for a one-week stage under James Beard Award winner® Chintan Pandya (@chefchintan) at Adda (@addanyc), where they put new learnings into practice across front- and back-of-house operations. Full story at the link in bio.
