There are moments when you realize you’re standing in the middle of a story that started long before you.

Last Saturday was one of those moments. 🧡🍊

My cousin Cameron is a junior at Seton Hall Prep, and we got to take him back to Syracuse for a visit. We walked onto the field before the game, met Coach Brown, toured the football facilities, and even got to see the Carmelo Anthony court.

But for our family, Syracuse is more than a campus.

My dad played here.
Uncle Mo played here.
They were teammates. Roommates. Brothers in football.

Years later, Cameron is back on that field, building his own story.

And I got to stand there and watch it all happen.

Different generation. Different chapter.
Same family. Same love for the game. Same legacy.

Some things are bigger than football. 🧡🍊

Back to where it all started. When your blessings stretch you thin, family stepping up matters. @_mojmcclain and @drsyreetamcclain can’t be three places at once one kid kicks off at noon for @ohiostatefb, another at 3:30 for @vol_football, and a third needs to be at @cusefootball by 9am for a recruiting visit, same day. Say less. Road trip it is. #theshowmustgoon #blessedandhighlyfavored

14. 🏈💙

I picked 14 because it’s my birthday.

But Dad reminded me that he wore 28… and 14 is half of 28.

So I guess I’m carrying a little bit of Dad with me every time I step on the field. 🥹

Half his number.
Half his genes.
All me.
